Paper Chain Room

 

Bringing back an oldie but goodie; lets make those paper chains to hang up. Nothing makes a home feel more cosey than handmade decorations. Best part is you only need paper, scissors, and tape. It's the same craft you used to do in Kindergarten. 

Cut the paper into strips, make a circle and tape the ends together. Insert a new strip of paper in the loop you have created and repeat until desired length.  Then hang them up for festive, cosey, atmosphere. Make snowflakes  or dangle dry orange slices. Just be carful of light sources when hanging and dangling. NO FIRES THIS SEASON!

With some beautiful paper you can also create more elaborate chains to hang... you don't have to use white paper. With decorative paper you can craft a countdown chain to New Years, or another holiday that is special to your family. 

One of my favorite parts of this room is this paper star to display with a light inside. While living in Norway, these stars were hung in almost every house adding a special glow to the darkness of winter. Craft a beautiful room by ordering here.
