Amethyst Anklet
I love making jewelry. I've been tinkering and playing with bobbles and beads since I was a kid. Beads are kind of like fabric when you are a seamstress. You can collect, never have enough, and easily end up with a big supply and mess. It's the kind of mess I like though, boxes of beads to pull out whenever I feel creative. I have some beads that I've held onto since I was a teenager. I can identify ones that my grandfather and grandmother bought for me and they hold a little more special place in my heart. About 5 years ago I started buying crystal beads, adding them to my collection, and making my jewelry. Crystals are beautiful, but I also love the vibrational energy and quality of wearing different stones. Michaels craft store had rows and rows of semi preciouses crystal beads back then. Usually, once a year, they do a sale on the beads to clear out inventory. I watched for that sale, and I bought almost every stone they had available. It was a great deal.
Today, I decided to work with Amethyst. a stone known for healing, spirituality, and connecting the third eye and crown chakra. To read more about all the benefits of amethyst read this great article below.

I love wearing amethyst, but I also display it in my home wherever I want to bring in calmer energy. I have a big piece by my living room.
Making Jewelry is very simple. You need wire, chain, beads, a clasp, some jump rings, wire cutters, needle nose pilers. After that it's just playing, creativity, cutting, bending, stringing and attaching beads to the chain. If you have a lot of beads make yourself something pretty. Go on Craft that Mess into something beautiful.
